The right attitude breeds the right Competition
Hey! Great to have you here
Today I want us to revisit the word competition. What should I compete for really? Are all forms of competitions good and necessary? Do they help me grow positively?
Well I have some thought I wish to share. First of all, competition is a good thing when done in the right sense and with the right attitude.
For instance, you see Messi and Ronaldo? Bolt and Blake? Novak and Federer? These people compete as athletes professionally.

There is not grudge, jealousy, malice, hate, humiliation intended. It's just basically about passion and skill, who is willing to do it better that season or time. They respect each other on/off the track/field. They might not be best of friends but they still respect each other. This is doing competition right.
How about doing it wrong? Well, technically it is the exact opposite. The moment jealousy, hate, malice, grudge, etc starts brewing in the minds of competitors, they are beginning to get it all wrong.
What should motivate you to do more should be passion and love for whatever you do, not that you must be the best at all cost, from the popular Indian movie three idiots, the main character said "pursue excellence and success would follow". It's not the other way round. Don't weep your kids and call them block heads because they were second in the class exams (you expected them to be first always, you where you first always?). Encourage them to do better, get them candy or a toy car for even attempting to sit in for the exams. Ask them reasons for their poor results in a course or subject over a cup of ice-cream. It's all about passion, not necessarily who gets a title in the end.
Gracias! Have a great day!
