Heat Wave in the South
No doubt in the recent days, that the weather in the south has been freaking unbearable, especially when it still very hot in the night. Like the moon was stolen by the Fulani herds men or something of sort 🤷🙄🤔🤔🤔
But then we ought to have some sort of explanation right?? Yeah! We do! We did not bargain for this misery at all, to be a Nigerian is not akara and custard, so we can't afford to add more suffering to our load.
Well I did some research, (as I couldn't sleep last night by the way 🙄🙄) and realized that Nigeria is experiencing what is termed a "Heat wave".
A heat wave is a period of excessively hot weather, which may be accompanied by high humidity, especially in oceanic climate countries. While definitions vary, a heat wave is measured relative to the usual weather in the area and relative to normal temperatures for the season. Temperatures that people from a hotter climate consider normal can be termed a heat wave in a cooler area if they are outside the normal climate pattern for that area. (Wikipedia)
This usually occurs during the transition phase from one season to another, so it's quite normal 🤷, no one opened up the gates of hell on us, we just have to endure.
Have a lovely day🤙🤙
