No go do pass yasef: Times waits for no one, doesn't necessarily mean you should rush life

No go do pass yasef

Time waits for no man.
However, this shouldn't put you in a fix where you tend to rush life. A popular saying in Nigeria is "This life na jeje." It simply means that in life, you do not need to be in a hurry. In our world of today, we see young chaps want to "make it in life" and as quickly as possible, at all cost.
Time waits for no one

Probably, they get confused by the saying, "opportunity comes but once." That is a complete fallacy! Totally unreal! Opportunities always present themselves. It may be in a different forms but it always shows up! Don't get in that pressure zone where you now want to do "all" it takes to make it. Most times, we even confuse fame for success. Being infamous doesn't translate to being unsuccessful.
Taraji P. Henson

Y'all know Taraji P. Henson, the "Queen Mother" 😅 in the multiple award winning TV series "EMPIRE". She graduated from the prestigious Howard University where she studied Acting and started her career in 1992. However, she only became known to the "world" in 2001 when she starred in 'Baby Boy' and in 2008 when she starred in 'The Karate Kid'. But in all those times when she wasn't a "Hollywood star",  was she an unsuccessful actress? Hell no! Sometimes, we often confuse fame for success. There are a lot of successful people who are not famous. Success, to me, is doing all you can to make your own self, your family, friends and, most importantly, make God happy. You can be famous in your own circle. You don't necessarily need to be a social media star. Don't let the pressure of society push you into doing all it takes to "make it". Just do you and put God first in all your endeavours and see things unfold favourably in due time.
